the studio
I currently operate out of a single-room, pine-paneled home studio in the family basement. We have some excellent, industry standard gear and a great sounding space, but these days great gear can be had by just about anyone willing to make the investment. In reality, good gear is only a small part of what makes a great recording; it's the operator/engineer and his or her knowledge, experience, ear, and creativity in the field that either makes or breaks the production, and great engineering is what it's all about at The Tuning Spoon! If you want to hear some of my sample recordings from the studio, take a listen on my MySpace page.
